Prior to opening my business I had many assignments creating client sales presentations in PowerPoint. Later I learned Desktop Publishing and Web Design.

On The Job
Much of my training was either through night classes or simply through trial-and-error. This often is the case in newer and cutting edge technologies.
One benefit of learning the hard way is it helps you decide if it's worth the effort.
I was pleased to learn that indeed it was worth the effort
and the
door was opened
for me
to pursue a line
of
work that truely
inspired me.

Early on in my schooling I discovered an interest in all things artisitic. My electives ranged from Marketing and Sales to every possible art class I could find.
What a challenge it was for my career counselor to locate schooling for computer related art.

On My Own
In those days it was nearly impossible
to find schooling that could help me find a direction to go with computers and art combined. I finally found a class called
presentation computer graphics at a local
Technical College. Unfortunately the class turned out to be more A/V than computer. Thank goodness I'm a fast learner and
am good at figuring things out for myself!
